About Chris and Son Lawn Service LLC

Saturday morning in Gulf Gate: low ranch houses, carports open, somebody hosing off a driveway two doors down. Chris and Son Lawn Service LLC moves through streets like these the way a neighbor would, cutting the grass even, running the edger along the curb until the line is sharp, squaring up the hedges under the front windows. The lots are modest and the details are what show, so the trimming around the mailbox post and the light pole gets the same attention as the open turf. Clippings come off the concrete before the truck moves on. It is an ordinary kind of pride, but a whole block of it is what makes a Sarasota neighborhood look loved.
