Blue Frog Lawn & Bugs

About Blue Frog Lawn & Bugs

An hour after a July downpour, Red Bug Slough starts up its chorus and every frog for a mile has something to say about it. Blue Frog Lawn & Bugs works the same warm, wet ground the frogs do, where St. Augustine turf grows fast and chinch bugs find it just as quickly. The routine is mowing and edging on a steady rhythm, plus a close look at the yellowing patch by the driveway before it spreads across the whole front yard. Weeds get treated, insects get treated, and the grass gets cut at a height that helps it hold up through a Sarasota summer. There is a real satisfaction in watching a lawn that was thinning in June come back thick and green by the end of the rains.
