Arbor Lawn and Tree

About Arbor Lawn and Tree

North of the Ringling grounds the streets of Sapphire Shores run straight down to Sarasota Bay, and by early afternoon the wind comes up off the water and combs through every palm on the block. Arbor Lawn and Tree works both stories of those yards - the grass at ground level and the canopy above it. Fronds get cut before they hang brown, deadwood comes out of the oaks, and hedges are brought back to a line that lets the bay light through. Down below, the mowing and edging finish the picture, and every limb and clipping leaves in the truck. There is a plain pride in standing at the curb afterward and seeing a lot that looks open, tidy and well tended straight through to the seawall.
