About Arbor Landscapes

In Laurel Park the streets are brick and the live oaks lean until they touch overhead, so the grass beneath them grows in halves - full sun on one side of the walk, deep shade on the other. Arbor Landscapes reads a yard like that before starting it, because a small downtown lot rewards hand work more than horsepower. Mowing gives way to trimming close along the porch steps and the garden wall; beds get weeded, mulched and kept back from the brick. Spanish moss and oak litter come down all spring, and hauling it off is half of what makes the cottage look right again. The reward is a narrow, shaded, old-Sarasota yard that finally looks as composed as the house behind it.
