About Colson's Custom Cuts Inc

Head inland from the beach and Santa Rosa Beach turns to pine — Point Washington State Forest, longleaf and saw palmetto, sandy ground that drains a downpour in minutes. Colson's Custom Cuts Inc works the neighborhoods where the yards meet those flatwoods and the grass grows in the odd, shifting light that falls through the trees. Mowing and edging, trimming around trunks and mailboxes, weeds pulled out of the beds, drives blown down before the truck moves. Late afternoon, when the shade finally reaches all the way across a lawn, is the hour a fresh cut looks best. The cut is the work, and it happens the same on the last yard of the day as on the first.
