Barry's Lawn Care

About Barry's Lawn Care

In the wet months the middle of Sanibel goes dark and lush along the river slough, and anything with roots seems to gain a foot overnight. Barry's Lawn Care works that season on a short cycle, mowing, pulling the tall growth back off walks and drives, edging the beds and hauling the cuttings away, because one skipped week here can undo a month. Afternoon rain arrives more or less on schedule, so the morning is the working half of the day. The reward is simple and repeatable: pull up to a yard that has gotten ahead of itself and leave it square. That is the whole trade, from the island's interior lanes out to the Gulf-side streets.
