About Shrub Masters inc.

February is pruning weather on the south shore — cool mornings, growth paused, everything about to push again — and a hedge cut then comes back thick instead of thin. Shrub Masters inc. works the shrubs of Ruskin with that timing in mind: viburnum and podocarpus squared or rounded to suit the house, ligustrum thinned so light can get inside, overgrown foundation plantings brought back to proportion. The lawn side runs alongside it — mowing, edging, trimming, blow-downs and bed cleanups on a steady schedule. Cuttings get hauled out, not left in a heap by the fence. A well-shaped hedge sets the whole front of a house straight.
