About Whiting Grove

Winter is Roeville's quiet season, when the air dries out, the oaks throw long blue shadows by four o'clock, and the grass all but stops growing. Whiting Grove keeps yards neat through that lull, then meets the first warm weeks of spring, when new blades push up through the sandy soil almost overnight. The work is lawn care in its plainest form: a steady mowing schedule, close trimming along beds and fences, a crisp border where turf meets pavement, and fallen leaves and twigs gathered up rather than left to mat. Done month after month, it gives a place the look of being lived in and looked after, all the way to the back steps.
