About Jim-N-M’s Landscaping and Ground Clearance

By three o'clock most summer afternoons the sky east of Ridge Manor stacks white, then goes slate, then drops half an inch of rain in twenty minutes. Jim-N-M's Landscaping and Ground Clearance knows what follows: grass that jumped four inches overnight, fronds and limbs strewn across the drive, a lot that looked fine on Friday and looks wild by Monday. The work is mowing and trimming, hauling off what the wind knocked loose, and pushing back the brush that always tries to take the corners. There's genuine pleasure in the before and after — a tangled edge one hour, a plain open line the next. Storm season is hard on a yard around here, and this is how it gets answered.
