Curby's Lawn Care

About Curby's Lawn Care

A street in Punta Gorda tells on itself at the curb: the strip by the mailbox, the seam where the drive meets the sod, the little bed nobody quite finishes. Curby's Lawn Care starts there and works back toward the house — mowing, edging the walks and the apron, trimming around posts and downspouts, sweeping the cut clean off the concrete. In the wet season that means a weekly pass; in the dry stretch it means keeping the weeds honest while the turf rests. There is a particular pleasure in pulling away from a lot where every line is straight and the pavement is bare. Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Charlotte Harbor.
