In Punta Gorda Isles the streets end in water more often than not, and most lawns run down to a seawall with a canal waiting behind it. Barracuda Landscape & Curbing works those narrow green margins — mowing right to the coping, edging the walk, cutting the hedges back off the dock gate. Salt air is hard on a yard, and the answer is attention: cuts on a set cycle, weeds pulled before they seed, clippings taken off the pavers instead of into the water. Late in the morning, when light bounces up off the canal and ripples across the undersides of the palm fronds, a finished lot looks twice its size.
