About Skinner Lawn Care, LLC

In July a Port St. Lucie workday is decided by seven in the morning: start then, or fight the sun for the rest of it. Skinner Lawn Care, LLC starts then, mowing through the streets near Oak Hammock Park where slash pines throw a little early shade and the dew is still on the blades. Summer grass grows ferociously here, so the cut has to be regular and the trimming disciplined — along the fence, around the pines, tight to every post and meter. Edges are recut where the turf has crawled over the concrete, and the drive is cleared so the property looks finished, not merely mowed. By the time the heat is unbearable, the route is done and the yards are holding their line.
