Citron Lawns

About Citron Lawns

January in Port Orange is the honest month — low sun, dry air off the mainland, backyard citrus heavy enough to bend a branch over the fence line. Citron Lawns works the yards through that cool stretch and all the loud green months after it, mowing on the interval the grass actually asks for. Edging along drives and walks, trimming what the mower can't turn into, hedges kept in shape, beds mulched and weeded, blowers last. Fallen fruit, fronds and limbs are cleared rather than mowed over. It's a small thing, a well-kept yard, and it is the first thing anybody sees.
