Cow Boy's Cuts

About Cow Boy's Cuts

Hendry County is cattle country before it is anything else — pasture running flat to the horizon, egrets stepping along behind the herd, the sky doing all the work of scenery. Cow Boy's Cuts keeps lawns in Port LaBelle on that same early ranch clock, out mowing while the dew is still heavy and the day has not turned on yet. Mowing, edging, trimming close to fences and slabs, then everything swept off the pavement. Out where the lots are wide and the light is long, a yard cut in even passes reads clean from the road. Finishing before the heat sets in and looking back at straight lines is its own reward.
