Plant City Lawn Care

About Plant City Lawn Care

Downtown Plant City still runs on brick streets and freight rail, and on a Saturday morning the block around McCall Park smells like coffee and cut grass in equal measure. Plant City Lawn Care takes its name from that town and works the yards that ring it, from the old houses near the depot out to the newer streets past State Road 39. Mowing, edging, weed trimming and hedge work make up most of the week, with a fuller cleanup when a yard has gotten ahead of its owner. The pleasure of the job is small and specific: the moment the line trimmer finishes a walkway and the concrete goes from ragged to ruled. A neighborhood where every third lawn is kept that way starts to feel cared for as a whole.
