About Kerry Puhl Lawn Works

Late afternoon in Perry, the live oaks throw their shade halfway across the street and the moss hangs without moving. Kerry Puhl Lawn Works cuts the yards under those oaks — mowing in long passes, edging the walk and the drive, trimming close around trunks and fence posts where the mower can't reach. Sandy Taylor County soil grows grass in bursts after a rain, and there is real satisfaction in taking a week of that growth down to one even plane. The blower finishes it: drive swept, sidewalk clear, the last clippings sent back into the beds. When the light goes gold through the moss, the yard looks like someone loves it.
