Josh's Lawn Services

About Josh's Lawn Services

Bayou Texar lies flat and pewter early, before the first wake crosses it and before the heat finds East Hill. Josh's Lawn Services keeps a morning rhythm on those blocks: mow, edge the walks and drives, run the trimmer along fences and mailbox posts, then blow the concrete clean. Pensacola gives back a long green season, so the route returns week on week from the first warm stretch of March through the mild end of November. The pleasure of the work lives in the border, a line at the curb straight enough to sight down. By the time the sun stands overhead on 14th Avenue the yard is cut, the street is swept, and the afternoon belongs to whoever lives there.
