Eye Candy Lawns

About Eye Candy Lawns

By July the crape myrtles have gone pink and mean to stay that way for a hundred days, and a yard underneath them ought to be worth the frame. Eye Candy Lawns takes its name from the result: mowing, edging and trimming done so the finished lawn is the thing you notice from the street. Late afternoon is the flattering hour, when low light rakes across a fresh cut and every direction of the mow shows. Edges get cut true against concrete, string trimming tidies what a mower can never reach, and the walks are cleared of the last green confetti. A yard in Pensacola is the front of the house as much as the door is.
