A Cut Above Landscaping

About A Cut Above Landscaping

Scenic Highway rides the red clay bluffs above Escambia Bay, and the yards up there tilt toward all that open water like they are leaning in to listen. A Cut Above Landscaping works those slopes in the late afternoon, when the bay turns pewter and the live oaks throw shade halfway across the lawn. Slopes cut differently than flat ground, so the pass gets planned before the wheels turn, and the shrub lines get shaped to follow the fall of the land instead of fighting it. Mowing, edging, hedge work and bed cleanup all end the same way here, with the walk blown clean and the property reading as one whole thing. From the road below, a finished yard on the bluff catches the last of the sun and holds it.
