Couling Cuts

About Couling Cuts

Where the land goes flat and open, ditch to ditch, the wind has nothing at all to slow it down — which is why a small snow out there drifts like a big one. Couling Cuts runs those roads around Pensacola before daylight, plowing long farm driveways and open lots, cutting a walk to the door, salting the low spots where the drift will try to rebuild. Some seasons bring only a few of these mornings, so each one counts double. Clear it once properly, then come back and clear it again when the wind rearranges everything. Nothing complicated about it — just being out there at five and doing it right.
