About Xtreme Gardens

January mornings in Pembroke Pines can open in the fifties, with a dry northeast wind and the sabal palms clacking over the sidewalk, the kind of working weather the rest of the year never offers. Xtreme Gardens spends those months on the patient jobs: beds cut back and edged into a clean curve, mulch pulled level, weeds lifted by hand where a blade would do damage, hedges brought back to shape. The lawn work runs right alongside, with mowing, trimming, edging and a full clearing at the end so the beds and the turf read as one design rather than two. A bed with a crisp border makes the grass beside it look better than it has any right to. By the time the rains return in May, the whole yard is set up to take them.
