JLQ Lawn Service

About JLQ Lawn Service

By two o'clock in the wet season the thunderheads are already stacking over the Everglades levee, white and enormous, and every crew in Pembroke Pines is reading them. JLQ Lawn Service starts early for exactly that reason — mowers running along the canal-bank grass while the air is still, edges cut before the first far-off rumble crosses Pines Boulevard. Rain here grows a lawn twice as fast as anywhere ought to, so the rhythm stays steady: cut, edge, trim the bed lines, blow the walks and the drive clean. There is a good feeling in beating the storm by twenty minutes and looking back at a block of yards all trimmed to the same clean line. Then the rain arrives, washes the day down, and the grass starts over.
