About Compton's Lawncare & Landscape Design

Palmona Park wakes early, dew still heavy on the St. Augustine grass while the first traffic starts humming along the Tamiami Trail. Compton's Lawncare & Landscape Design begins there — mowers down, edges cut against the driveway, clippings blown back off the concrete before the heat arrives. The design side is slower and just as satisfying: reading how a yard takes the Lee County light, where a bed wants to curve, which corner keeps its shade all afternoon. By the time the Gulf breeze turns in the afternoon, the lawn is cut in even passes, the hedges sit square, and the whole lot looks like someone loves it. That result is the reason for the early start, and it shows from the road.
