About Sandy Landscaping, LLC

Every afternoon of the wet season a thunderhead climbs over the Everglades and arrives here by four, and by five the yards along the Deering Estate side of the village are strewn with leaves and torn fronds. Sandy Landscaping, LLC follows behind that weather — clear, cut, edge and blow, until a block that looked ransacked at dusk looks composed again by the next morning. Summer growth in Palmetto Bay is relentless; St. Augustine can put on a week's height in five days of rain. So the routine stays simple and does not get skipped: mow, trim the borders, shape the hedges, take the clippings away. Gumbo limbo and oak keep dropping things, and that is fine — that is the job.
