About Alevon Green

Palmetto Bay lets the morning in slowly, filtering it down through live oak and mahogany before it ever reaches a blade of grass. Alevon Green works that early hour, while dew still weighs on the St. Augustine and the mower leaves a straight dark seam behind it. Mowing, edging, string trimming and a full blow-down of walks and driveways — plain work, plainly done, and easy to see when it is finished. In January, when a cool front slips down the peninsula and the whole village smells of cut grass and salt air, a tended lawn reads like the shape the yard was always meant to hold. That border where turf meets concrete is the detail worth stepping back to look at.
