Against The Grain Tree Care

About Against The Grain Tree Care

Sunrise in Oak Hill arrives across the water first — over Mosquito Lagoon and the low dark line of the barrier island, then into the cabbage palms and the old live oaks the town was named for. Against The Grain Tree Care works this narrow strip between lagoon and flatwoods, removing trees that salt wind and time have finished with, and trimming and pruning the rest so crowns stay open and honest. Salt air is hard on a tree; so is a summer that hands you an afternoon squall and an autumn that can hand you worse. Storm damage cleanup here means clearing the path back to a dock, hauling out what came down across the oyster shell, and leaving the place quiet again. Small town, big trees, work you can walk past a year later and still see.
