About Serafini’s Landscaping

At Leighton Park the South Fork slides past wide and green-brown, an osprey working the water while somebody eases a boat down the ramp. Serafini’s Landscaping tends the streets that run back from that river — weekly cuts, edges held tight to curb and sidewalk, hedges kept below the windowsills. Spring is for mulch and the clearing out of beds; the wet season is for mowing again and again. Clippings come off the pavement before the crew leaves, so the front walk finishes as clean as the grass. It is unhurried, ordinary work, done in a town that rewards keeping things neat.
