Walker Lawn & Property Services

About Walker Lawn & Property Services

A January morning in Palatka arrives cool and dry, fog sitting low over the potato fields toward Hastings until the sun pulls it up. Walker Lawn & Property Services is built for the whole parcel rather than the front strip — mowing and edging, hedges shaped, fence lines trimmed, overgrown lots cut back to usable ground and the debris carried off. On acreage out toward Rice Creek the line between yard and woods has to be drawn on purpose, and holding that line month after month is the actual job. Come spring, when everything here wakes at once, the properties on the route are already ahead of it. Lawn and property upkeep in Palatka and the farm towns east of the river.
