About Edsall Lawn and Maintenance

Down where Dunns Creek runs black and slow under the cypress, spring arrives in Putnam County weeks before the calendar admits it. That is when Edsall Lawn and Maintenance gets busy — the first real cuts of the year, edges reopened after the cool months, shrubs brought back into shape before the growth gets away. Sandy Palatka soil and warm rain make for grass that wants to sprawl, and holding a clean boundary between lawn and bed is most of the art of it. They mow, trim, shape and haul off what the wind and the season left behind. What is left is a yard that looks like the warm months are welcome there.
