About Down to Earth Lawn & Garden Pro

Under a good part of Oviedo lies the black muck that once grew celery by the trainload, ground so rich the town built itself around it. Down to Earth Lawn & Garden Pro takes the name literally and works from the soil up: mowing and edging on a steady cycle, beds turned and weeded, mulch laid down before the summer rains start pounding. Turf gets fed on a schedule that suits Central Florida, where grass never really stops and neither does the crabgrass. Hedges are trimmed to keep light moving through them, and the cuttings are hauled off rather than tucked behind the shed. The result is an ordinary yard made orderly — which, on a hot street in August, is no small thing.
