About Toucan Lawn Care & Pest Control, LLC

By two o'clock in July the thunderheads stack up over the Atlantic and lean west across the peninsula, and the work gets finished in the bright hours before the sky opens. Toucan Lawn Care & Pest Control, LLC keeps its routes moving through an Ormond Beach summer, when heat and rain together push a lawn to grow faster than anybody plans for. Mowing on a tight cycle, edging, cutting the shrubs back, clearing spent palm fronds and storm litter out of the beds — it adds up to a yard that looks deliberate under all that green. Sabal palms lay their thin shadows across a fresh mow, and the wide light coming off the beach makes an even cut look drawn on with a ruler. The routes run through Ormond Beach, Ormond-by-the-Sea, Holly Hill and south into Daytona Beach.
