Founders Lawn Care

About Founders Lawn Care

The hard-packed sand at Ormond Beach was a racecourse before it was a postcard, and the town has never quite lost that early, get-after-it streak. Founders Lawn Care carries it a few blocks inland, where the beachside streets run short and straight toward the water and every yard is measured in feet, not acres. Mowing, edging, string trimming and hedge shaping make up the round, with beds weeded and cleanups hauled clear. February evenings are the pleasure of the job — the light goes long and gold over the roofs near Andy Romano Beachfront Park, the mower stripes hold, and the whole block looks trim in the same hour. Small lots reward care, and care is what they get.
