About Davis Lawn care

January surprises newcomers to Ormond Beach: a front slides down, the wind swings north off the river, and the lawns go quiet and half-dormant for a few short weeks. Davis Lawn care reads that stretch the way it reads July — mowing eases off, while trimming, bed weeding, hedge shaping and cleanup carry the season. On the old streets near the Casements, where oaks lean over brick walks and Riverside Drive runs close to the water, the work is close quarters: hand-edging around root flare and garden walls, blowing the path clean rather than the neighbor's car. Come the first mild week of February everything wakes at once, and the yards that were tended through the cool weeks are the ones that green up even. Steady attention is the point, and a straight cut on a winter afternoon is its own small reward.
