Wedgefield Lawn and Wash

About Wedgefield Lawn and Wash

Out past Bithlo the city thins into pine flatwoods and big sky, and the lots get generous. Wedgefield Lawn and Wash keeps those acres in order, mowing wide bahia lawns, edging the long drives, cutting back the palmetto and vine that push in from the tree line, and clearing what falls. By October the humidity finally lets go, sandhill cranes stalk the open ground, and the Econlockhatchee runs dark and slow through the woods to the east. A property out here can go back to the pines in a single season, so a cut kept on schedule is what keeps a yard a yard. Come spring the bahia throws up its seed heads, the route goes weekly again, and the mowers work the long light until the last lot is done.
