About J B Davies Lawn Services

College Park names its streets after colleges and reads like a bungalow catalog — deep porches, camphor and oak shading the pavement, front lawns just big enough to matter. J B Davies Lawn Services runs those blocks on Saturday mornings, mowing around surfaced roots, edging along the old narrow sidewalks, trimming close to porch steps and fence corners where a mower can't reach. Hedge work keeps the plantings below the windowsills, mulch goes down dark around the azaleas, and a debris cleanup clears the leaf drop the oaks let go every spring. By the time the shops on Edgewater Drive are busy, the yards behind them are done. A well-kept bungalow lawn makes the whole street look better, and that's a fair thing to take pride in.
