Lawn Maintenance Acquaintance

About Lawn Maintenance Acquaintance

The name is half a joke about how this actually goes: the person cutting your grass turns into somebody you wave to on the way out of the driveway. Around the Milk District and Colonialtown, where the lots sit close and the bungalows are almost within earshot of one another, that counts for nearly as much as the cut itself. Lawn Maintenance Acquaintance runs mowing, edging, trimming, hedge work and yard cleanups through those streets on a repeating loop. The oaks along Bumby drop acorns and twigs on a calendar of their own, and clearing that off a small front lawn takes ten minutes and changes the whole face of the house. A quiet route, familiar faces, and grass that never gets ahead of anybody.
