Scapes of North Florida

About Scapes of North Florida

North Florida keeps its own plant vocabulary — sabal palms, crepe myrtles blooming right through the summer, live oaks that shade half a lot by themselves. Scapes of North Florida builds with it around Orange Park: beds drawn and planted, mulch laid, shrubs pruned to shape, sod set, and the steady cutting and edging that keeps the whole composition reading clearly. A plan here has to survive hurricane season and a February cold snap in the same twelve months, so what goes in matters as much as where. Planted with that in mind, a yard feels like it belongs to this particular latitude rather than to a catalog. That fit is the point of the work.
