About Hickman's lawn care and more LLC

January in Orange Park means camellias blooming beside brick ranch houses in Lakeside and Bellair, the grass gone quiet and the light low and thin. Hickman's lawn care and more LLC keeps those older neighborhoods on the calendar straight through — cutting when it grows, edging and trimming, leaf and limb cleanup when the oaks let go, hedges brought back to shape. Winter here is short and mostly a matter of tidying; the real season opens the week the St. Augustine wakes up. Mature yards have their own logic — roots near the surface, shade in odd corners, borders someone drew a long time ago and meant. Working with all of that instead of against it is most of the job.
