South of Orange Park the St. Johns goes wide and slow past Green Cove Springs, and the land beside it lies flat enough that every inch of grade matters. Fort Construction & Landscape works with that in mind — shaping ground, building beds and borders, setting sod and plantings, then keeping the result mown, edged and trimmed. Get the grade right and a Florida yard sheds an August downpour; get it wrong and you mow a swamp until October. The pleasure is in the finished shape: turf that drains, a border holding its line, hedges squared to the house. Around here, that is exactly what a yard is asked to do.
