Southern Lawn Care

About Southern Lawn Care

August in Orange City is a negotiation with the sky. Heat piles up all morning, thunder starts somewhere past DeLand around one, and every yard on the route has to be mowed, edged and trimmed before the first fat drops hit the drive. Southern Lawn Care runs the whole summer that way, cutting, edging fence lines and walks, blowing the clippings clear, and then the rain arrives and does its own part, and by Thursday the grass has grown back into next week's work. That is not a complaint; it is what a subtropical county asks in exchange for a green year. A lawn cut clean on the hottest afternoon of the year, with the storm right behind it, is worth the sweat it costs.
