About Turtle Turf

Out where Old Miakka's sand roads cross the flatwoods, gopher tortoises keep their burrows in the high dry ground and the oaks lean away from the prevailing wind. Turtle Turf mows and edges the homesteads scattered through that country, working lots where the lawn simply ends and the palmetto takes over. The trimmer handles the fence lines, the blower clears the drive, and the mow lines run straight across whatever shape the yard happens to be. There's no traffic to hurry the job and no neighbor's noise to hide behind — only the cut, and how it reads when you step back. It reads well.
