Casey's Lawn Care

About Casey's Lawn Care

East of Ocala the land tilts down toward the Ocklawaha, the air turns heavier, and a mockingbird will run through six songs before the first mower starts. Casey's Lawn Care keeps its route out that way, mowing and trimming yards that sit among pines and palmetto where the woods are always trying to come back a few feet. Half the work is turf and half is edge work — keeping the driveway line honest, cutting the volunteer growth off a fence, clearing what falls after a windy night. The wet months ask for weekly visits; the cooler stretch asks for cleanup and shape. It is quiet work in a quiet part of the county, and a yard that stays open and orderly out here takes real doing.
