Liquid Lawn

About Liquid Lawn

By two in the afternoon in July the sky west of Oakland Park has stacked itself into a white anvil, and within the hour the streets are running an inch deep. Liquid Lawn schedules around that, cutting in the clear part of the morning, because the turf here drinks a summer downpour and answers with three days of growth. Mowing, edging, trimming and a full pass of the drives and walks, all finished before the sky turns over. Wet-season grass is generous and unruly at the same time; stay on it weekly and it stays lush, let it go and it lodges over and mats. The canals fill, the yards steam once the sun returns, and the route picks up again the next morning.
