About Wendy's Landscaping

By late May the royal poincianas are threatening to open over the front walks of Sans Souci, and a bed that looked tidy in February needs its lines drawn all over again. Wendy's Landscaping works that ground between the lawn and the house — fresh mulch, shrubs shaped, borders cut back into a clean curve, new plants set where something did not make it through the dry months. The mowing and edging happen too, of course, but the beds are where a North Miami front yard shows what it thinks of itself. Color goes in where the eye lands: by the mailbox, along the walk, at the corner of the porch. It is a small stage, and it deserves to be set well.
