Grass Daddy

About Grass Daddy

By ten in the morning in July the cicadas have taken over and the only cool spot on the block is under a water oak. Grass Daddy is out in it regardless — mowing Niceville lawns, running edges along drives and walks, trimming around every mailbox and downspout, cutting hedges back, and clearing the whole property before rolling on. Heat like this makes grass sprint, so intervals stay tight and blades stay sharp enough that the tips don't brown after a cut. Beds get weeded and topped with mulch as summer wears them thin. The payoff is the last look back from the truck: sharp edges, even color, nothing out of place.
