About Terra Vida Landscaping

South of town, where Mosquito Lagoon opens wide and shallow, spoonbills come through pink as sunrise and the spring air is warm before the water is. Terra Vida Landscaping takes its cues from that country: plants that want this ground, beds shaped to the light a yard actually gets, mulch laid to hold moisture through a New Smyrna Beach dry season. The lawn work runs with it — mowing, edging, trimming — so the grass and the plantings look like one idea rather than two. A young bed that fills in the way it was drawn is a slow pleasure, and worth the patience it asks for. Green things belong here; the job is helping them settle.
