About Shelton's Lawn Service, LLC

By two o'clock in July the thunderheads have stacked themselves white and enormous over the west side of Venetian Bay, and everybody watching the sky already knows how the afternoon goes. Shelton's Lawn Service, LLC works ahead of that clock — mowing, edging, trimming and blowing the wide lawns of those neighborhoods before the first fat drop lands. Rain and heat push St. Augustine grass hard here, so the route runs tight and the blades stay sharp, because a week's growth in a New Smyrna Beach summer is not a suggestion. Then the storm passes, the light goes gold and low, and every stripe on a fresh-cut lawn shows twice as clearly. Coming back to a yard that looks like that is worth the early start.
