About Sampson and sons Lawn care and tree work

West of the river, out past Glencoe Road, the hammock closes in: live oak, cabbage palm, saw palmetto, and limbs that have been leaning on the wind a long time. Sampson and sons Lawn care and tree work reads those limbs for a living — pruning what crowds a roofline, taking down what a summer squall has already half-decided, trimming palms and hauling the brush away clean. The lawn work runs alongside it, mowing and edging and trimming so the ground looks as settled as the canopy above it. Nothing about a tree job is loud when it is done right; there is only more light on the grass and a driveway swept bare. In New Smyrna Beach, where the storm season is long, that quiet afterward is the whole point.
