Leafy Landscapes

About Leafy Landscapes

Live oaks here do their leaf-dropping in late winter, all at once, right when everyone assumes the yard work is behind them. Leafy Landscapes shows up for exactly that — raking and blowing out leaf fall, clearing litter off walks and out of beds, hauling debris away, then picking the mowing back up as the grass wakes. Through the rest of the year it is the standing round of mowing, edging, trimming and hedge shaping. Shade lawns on the older blocks west of the river grow slow and thin, and they want a higher cut and a gentler hand. Clean ground under a big oak is a quietly beautiful thing.
