The Original Southern Turf

About The Original Southern Turf

Green-up comes early here — some years the St. Augustine never fully quits, and by March the whole town is putting out new blades at once. The Original Southern Turf works Neptune Beach on that schedule: mowing, edging, trimming, treating weeds and feeding the turf so the color fills in even rather than patchy. Sandy soil and salt spray make grass a project on this side of the Intracoastal, which is exactly what makes a thick, uniform lawn worth looking at. Add a magnolia dropping leaves into the middle of it and the work stays honest. Cut it right and a yard reads as one continuous carpet from the porch to the curb.
